Birthday Gift... A Pair of Cute Earrings

Last month was my first birthday in The Netherlands. So I celebrated it. I got some gifts of course. One of them was these cute earrings from the sister in law. Cute, isn't it? I wore it on a birthday party of my husband's extended family. His aunt in law and her two daughters celebrated their birthday in one party. Makan-makan!!!

Bedouin Silver Earring

I wore this earrings when I went home to Banyuwangi for a long weekend, diving in Menjangan Island. I took a bus from Yogyakarta to my hometown. My family picked me up by car. As usual, my sister mocked my style or whatever I wear. This was the conversation between us on the way home:

Sister: "You are like a crazy girl."

I: "Ya ya ya ya... My hair is messy. What do you think?! I had been about 14 hours in the bus." (Didn't care with her saying)

Sister: You wear only one earring on your left ear.

I: "What? I wear two earrings." (touching my earrings then screamed) "No!!!! I lost it!!!"

Sister: (Laughing....) "Ha ha ha..."

I: (Mumbling...) "I always lose something..."

The earring is from my Boyf. One of oleh-oleh from Israel. He was a bit unhappy when I told him that I lost one of the earrings."

British says, "I'm sorry, love!"

While I had a compliment from the European partners of my office, I had a complaint from my Indonesian colleague at the same time. That I acted too much, too much in personal way than professional way in hosting the partners. My boss said, "You have to steer clear of the gray situation."

The Beautiful Pain Earrings

I bought them in one of cheapy boutiques on Gejayan Street in Yogyakarta. I saw them and I just loved it (even until now). I didn't think about the consequence before by buying them. As they pinch your ears, it causes a pain.

If you would die for fashionable looking, the pain won't stop you buying this kind of earrings and wear them.

For me, it looks no difference between blind love and stupid. As I love them, I don't care the pain. The girls who wear it almost whole day are just stupid. And, I am one of them.

Amber, The Grandmother's Stone

 A souvenir from Krakow, Poland. If everybody bought their amber earring at Cloth Hall (Suckiennice), I bought this souvenir at the airport. My Boyf had some Polish Zloty left, so we wanted to spend it before we went back to The Netherlands. This is it, the symbol of Poland, now I wear it everyday for casual wear.

Dalmation Earring

This earring by Naughty, I call "Dalmation Earring" as its black and white fake fur. Quite nice to wear. The gold color makes it a bit lux but the fur makes it a bit cheapy. Well, 50-50 then...

For make-up I wore Dior eyeshadow, Helena Rubinstein mascara, and Maybelline Color Sensational Lipgloss. I forgot if I wore Blush-on, it wasn't seen again by the way.

It is last shot I took in Indonesia before I moved to Germany for a year.

Ketik Reg Kirim ke 2121

Ada cowok yang tidak aku kenal dan dia juga tidak mengenalku berujar ketika melihat foto ini bahwa kalau cewek yang ada difoto ini adalah model. Dia bilang, "Foto ini pasti dapat dari ketik reg dan dikirim lewat sms itu kan. Huh ga' percaya aku kalau itu dia." Yach, apa yang bisa aku katakan kalau sudah seperti itu. Terkadang memang beberapa orang terlihat fotogenik ketika difoto tapi terlihat biasa aja di dunia nyata. Hanya pintar-pintar cari angle dan moment.

Anting-anting ini aku beli ketika masih kuliah dulu. Mungkin sekitar tahun 2005-2007. Tidak tau pastinya. Sering aku pake untuk acara ke pesta namun sekarang anting itu telah rusak.
